A Pittsburgh native, singer /songwriter Erin Burkett Has Pronounced her soul with powerful vocals to dedicated audiences throughout The Northeastern United States for over twenty years.

    Rooted in the tradition of spirituals and seasoned in a dozen -year study of blues, Burkett's  music has been energized by her journey into improvisational music. 
  
  Ms. Burkett has written and produced two CDs of original music. Erin's most current endeavor is a creative merge of the vocals and writing she is known to unwaveringly deliver, teamed with the legendary jazz and classical bassist, Virgil Walters of trio Grande. Within this blend. they introduce fresh ways to honor a diverse and unexpected lineup of music.

Together, they bring an edgy and musical breath of fresh air.  

     With her sultry voice and infectious spirit, Ms. Burkett has been busy growing dedicated audiences in the tri-state area. Erin's performance experience includes innumerous gigs at clubs and festivals, live television and radio appearances , in addition to adding her vocal presence to various other's recordings.  She receives radio play locally, on National public radio, and in Europe. Burkett has shared the stage with John Mayall, Savoy Brown, Robben Ford, Koko Taylor, Anders Osbourne, and Susan Tedeschi, among  innumerous Pittsburgh blues and jazz musicians.
